Our History

Special T Shirt Company / www.PrintedShirts.ca was started in 1989 by Lorne Mack, a former member of the Canadian National Rowing Team. Lorne accidentally started in the t-shirt business when he started designing Rowing T-shirts to sell at rowing regattas to support himself in his athletic pursuits as an under-funded amateur athlete.  After retiring from competitive rowing, Lorne, found that going to work in a suit and tie every day just wasn’t his thing.

Lorne and his staff have worked hard to develop PrintedShirts.ca into one of the most successful Printing, Embroidery, and Promotional Products businesses in Canada, constantly building on its reputation of quality products and amazing Customer Service, all at a fair price.

We like to think that we’re doing something right, and our constantly returning customers confirm it.  After discovering us, many of our customers tell us that they can’t believe that they can actually have it this good.
